Eight awards from five cities and for five different reasons. The only praise that counts is the kind that comes from outside.
Any group can describe itself well. What it cannot do is award itself. That is why this list matters more to us than anything we could write about our own houses.
The oldest one
The 5 Star Diamond Award is given by the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, the academy Frank Sinatra founded in 1949. Six of the group's houses hold it: Ilios, Harry's, Porfirio's, BAK', Nicoletta and H Roof.
For the rooms
Ilios Cancún took the DNA Paris Design Award for its interiors. Ilios Tulum was named the best of the Americas and the Caribbean at the International Hotel and Property Awards. And the Restaurant and Bar Design Awards, from Design Et Al, went to Ilios Cancún and to Porfirio's Guadalajara.
For the brand, and for the guests
Marcas que Enamoran, in Madrid, gave the group first place in Innovation in 2025. Latam Digital, by Interlat in Bogotá, has recognised it four years in a row with more than twenty awards. Nine brands carry the Distintivo T of Taste Mexico. And Marcas de Confianza and Donde Ir, both chosen by the public, went to Harry's and to Porfirio's.
